Our client AGL Energy are on the lookout for an experienced Presales Consultant to join them on a contract basis. Connectnow (an AGL owned business) is a moving home service that helps customers find suppliers in their area and arrange services all at once. This service extends to connections for electricity, gas, internet, phone, pay TV, and much more.
This Presales Consultant position is responsible for lead generation for daily sales, handling customer enquiries and representing Connectnow in a professional manner. Providing a high level customer service to customers relating, but not limited to New utility connections and home service.
Key accountabilities of this role
- Ability to sell a portfolio of products and services - so an ability to sell multiple products and to upsell customers based on their needs is a requirement.
- Ensure that all regulatory and compliance requirements are met, complimented with a strong NPS score.
- Product knowledge across multiple products and categories.
- Ability to work with a number of systems concurrently, varying in complexity and purpose.
- Display the highest standard of professionalism in dealing with real estate partners and external clients.
Qualifications, key skills and experience required
- Customer service, sales or account management skills
- Positive attitude, strong negotiation skills and a willingness to learn
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and build rapport with our customers
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to work with multiple systems concurrently, proficiency in core Microsoft products
