About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations and administration of our law firm. As the Practice Manager, you will work closely with our partners, lawyers, and support staff to ensure the efficient functioning of our practice, while also maintaining high standards of client service and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the firm, including work-flow management, resource allocation, and supervision of administrative staff.
- Collaborate with partners to develop and implement strategies for business growth and client retention. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance overall efficiency.
- Recruit, train, and manage support staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a client-focused culture within the firm, ensuring high-quality service delivery and timely response to client inquiries and concerns.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, external stakeholders, and service providers to support the firm's reputation and business development efforts.
- Qualifications in business administration, or a related field. Legal qualifications or experience in a law firm setting would be highly advantageous.
- Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably within a legal or professional services environment
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Sound financial management and budgeting skills.
- Knowledge of legal practice management systems and technology tools used in law firms.
- Familiarity with legal and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of professionalism and discretion.
