Baiada is one of Australia's leading employers in the food production industry producing quality poultry products with brands such as Lillydale and Steggles. Chandler Macleod are currently seeking enthusiastic hard workers for positions available as poultry farm workers in the heart of the Murrumbidgee area.

These roles involve walking chicken sheds in order to maintain healthy livestock, cleaning and collecting eggs, egg grading, stacking nest boxes and capturing birds to be weighed/vaccinated. There are various positions available at the farm including roles in vaccination, egg packing, floor walking and general labouring. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone looking for a new career, or anyone looking to re-enter the workforce. The hours are 7am to 3pm most days, working a 7-Day Roster. The position can be very physically demanding and will require some level of fitness.

To be considered for this role you should:

  • Have a great work ethic and be reliable
  • Be hard working and enthusiastic
  • Have the Flexibility to work 7-day roster and be available at short notice
  • Reliable transport (30 Minutes from Griffith NSW)
  • Be physically fit
  • Have Good verbal communication skills
  • adhere to all safety policies and procedures

    Due to quarantine requirements, you must not have any contact with Birds or Pigs, to be considered for this role.

    Please note: All employees are required to shower on and off on shifts, in accordance with our Client's Biosecurity Policy.
