Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage multiple Policy Officers

Position Overview

There will be opportunities to contribute to a variety of work ranging from policy development to providing support for a government established Taskforce of industry experts. Specifically, you will contribute to some of the following key tasks:

  • producing a wide range of written materials including cabinet submissions, new policy proposals, briefings, ministerial and departmental correspondence and media materials
  • undertaking research and analysis on maritime policy issues
  • working across government on areas of common interest relating to establishing the fleet
  • engaging with eminent members of the Strategic Fleet Taskforce
  • developing and supporting complex relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and
  • providing secretariat support for the Taskforce, including assisting with drafting the Taskforce's interim and final reports to the Government.
