Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage an APS6 Policy Development Officer on a contract for 12 months with potential extension 12 months.

About the Role:

We are looking for talented and driven individuals to join the team and contribute to low-emissions technology policy, analytical and delivery work.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Working primarily with the team delivering the Low Emissions Technology Roadmap, we are seeking a policy officer with strong research and analytic skills.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential, including the ability to write policy papers and briefings distilling complex concepts in to plain English.
  • Background in energy, climate change or low emissions technology subject areas is highly desirable, as is economics or engineering.
  • Demonstrated experience engaging with a range of stakeholders, including internal to Government and industry.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • The successful candidate will be required to have a Baseline security clearance.
