Our client AGL Energy are on the lookout for a Personal Assistant to join them on a contract basis. The purpose of this role is to support two General Managers and must champion the needs of AGL and work towards the achievement of AGL's strategy by delivering effective support that connect people with AGL's vision, values and business goals in ways that build engagement, pride, community and commitment.

Key accountabilities of this role

  • This role supports the GM for Projects, Events & Reporting and the GM for Policy and Markets and is responsible for the management of administrative tasks that support daily business operating requirements.
  • Outlook management - reviewing all items and meeting requests in a timely manner and actioning, delegating, marking for follow up, filing or drawing attention to urgent/business critical items.
  • Pro-actively manage diaries, including scheduling meetings, coordinating activities, and managing preparatory materials to ensure optimum use of their time.
  • Responsible for the flow of work through GM's office and initiates any follow-up action.
  • Manage financial admin processing - credit card management/reconciliation and reimbursement claims, invoice processing and management
  • You are the point of contact for routine questions and obtaining and furnishing information for the GMs.
  • Assist the Executive Assistant to the EGM Corporate Affairs with administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications, key skills and experience required

  • You are an advocate for your client, and you have extensive experience in this type of role.
  • You have exceptional interpersonal communication skills - both written and verbal- combined with the ability to relate to people at all levels and adapt your approach as required.
  • Experience working with senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, you are comfortable working both autonomously and in a team.
  • You possess a strong attention to detail and are adaptable.
  • You have a proactive approach to your work.
  • You have a strong knowledge of MS Office Suite in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using SAP Fiori will be beneficial.
