Our client AGL Energy are on the lookout for a Personal Assistant to join them on a contract basis. The purpose of this role is to support two General Managers and must champion the needs of AGL and work towards the achievement of AGL's strategy by delivering effective support that connect people with AGL's vision, values and business goals in ways that build engagement, pride, community and commitment.

Key accountabilities of this role

  • This role supports 2x GM's, GM for Future Business and GM for Data & Analytics and is responsible for the management of administrative tasks that support daily business operating requirements.
  • You will be responsible for Diary Management - scheduling appointments and arranging meetings, conferences, and travel.
  • Organise and maintains GM correspondence and records, following up on pending matters with limited direction as well as draft correspondence for final approval.
  • Organise and prepare complex documents requiring the integration of multiple office technology and software applications.
  • Responsible for the flow of work through GM's office and initiates any follow-up action.
  • Receives and screens telephone calls, letters, and/or visitors.
  • You are the point of contact for routine questions, obtaining and furnishing information for the GMs.

Qualifications, key skills and experience required

  • You are an advocate for your client, and you have extensive experience in this type of role.
  • You have exceptional interpersonal communication skills - both written and verbal- combined with the ability to relate to people at all levels and adapt your approach as required.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, you are comfortable working both autonomously and in a team.
  • You possess a strong attention to detail as well as a strategic mindset.
  • You are adaptable in your approach and delivery.
  • You have a proactive approach to your work.
  • You have a strong knowledge of MS Office Suite in particular MS Teams, SharePoint and Power BI.
  • Experience using Mirra will be beneficial.
