Chandler Macleod are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our client for a part-time temporary assignment with the view to go permanent, based in Eastern Creek!

This assignment requires flexibility, as you will need to be able to work, Monday to Friday, for the training period. (First 7 weeks)

Once training has been completed, your set days will be, Wednesday to Friday (8 Hours).

You will also need to be available to work on call, for Monday & Tuesday. Flexibility around start, and finish times.


The primary tasks for this role include:

  • Support the Payroll officer, and run payroll when on leave
  • General Administration
  • Answering phones in a prompt, polite and positive manner at all times
  • Accurate data entry skills
  • Responding to email and managing an inbox
  • Secretarial duties
  • Filing
  • Petty cash
  • Ad-hoc duties as required by manager

    The successful candidate will need to possess the following:
  • Confident and fluent communication skills at all levels
  • Ability to focus and work to deadlines
  • High standards of integrity and reliability
  • Willingness to learn new processes and the initiative to further develop in the role
  • MUST BE AVAILABLE to work Monday - Friday
  • be committed and self-motivated
  • Previous payroll experience
  • Minimum 5 years administration experience
