This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer that will provide support to the Payroll Supervisor. Assisting with all company related payroll issues, ensuring all schedules, processing timeframes/dates etc. are met.

Your key responsibilities will see you:

  • Timely and accurate end to end processing of weekly and fortnightly payroll
  • Award and EA interpretation
  • Processing leave, superannuation, onboarding, and terminations
  • Communicating with staff and addressing all queries in a timely manner
  • Checking and auditing of payrolls, ensuring legislative and award compliance
  • Identifying, solving, and raising issues where necessary
  • As requested, support HR & Finance teams, across a range of tasks and projects to achieve deadlines/timeframes

Ideally, we are seeking:

  • Minimum 2-3 experience in successfully processing end-to-end payrolls
  • Experience identifying, implementing and influencing for continuous improvement
  • Advanced working knowledge of statutory payroll related legislation
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including in coaching and influencing
  • Knowledge of ERP software such as Aurion, SAP, or similar is an advantage.
