We are currently seeking a Payroll Officer for a large company for a 6 month position, located in Leederville to start on 31/01/2022.

    Key responsibilities:
  • Undertake the processing of HR/Payroll records in a timely and accurate manner including base pay, allowances, deductions, Superannuation, Tax, new hires, terminations and employee movements.
  • Create and maintain all organisation structures and positions
  • Maintain all personal records in line with regulatory requirements including the creation of Personnel Files
  • Provide the first point of contact for the production of HR and Payroll related reports
  • Providing accurate and timely advice on Water Corporation employment conditions to all employees and managers
  • Resolve complex issues with employees and managers in the interpretation of conditions of employment relating to entitlements and payments
  • Coach employees and managers on the use of HR Self Service
  • Coach managers and employees on the best use of SAP HR/Payroll information and reporting
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers within a designated portfolio


    Requirements:
  • Relevant experience in processing Payroll and/or Human Resources information in a large and complex computerised system
  • Relevant experience in and demonstrated capability of providing customer related support and service for a large multi functional commercial organisation.
  • Knowledge of Superannuation and Taxation
  • Ability to use complex computerised payroll systems and computer packages such as Excel, Word, Electronic Diary and Mail
  • Highly organised, able to multi-task, be process driven and possess a level of maturity required to deal with highly sensitive and confidential information.
  • Experience in undertaking small projects is desirable
