Our client is a leading Financial Services firm experiencing growth and gathering an expression of interest for experienced Payroll Officers. The role is focussed on processing payments of various payrolls for over 3000 employees. They are expected to implement changes to employees and ensure changes are made in the HR system.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Processing of payroll consistent with HR requirements
  • Ongoing updates and maintenance of Employee records
  • Respond to phone and email enquiries
  • Reporting of STP to ATO and processing invoice payments
  • Preparing and processing termination payments where required
  • Maintaining data integrity and compliance within the Payroll Services systems
  • Ensure that all employees are paid in accordance with the terms and conditions of the relevant award or individual employment contract and legislative requirements
  • Administer employee/employer deductions, contributions and benefits including industry and company superannuation
  • Send final paperwork for existing employees


  • Over 3 years experience in payroll for large institutions
  • Solid understanding of different awards and have worked with success factors
  • Experience using accounting software is preferred
  • Knowledge of general payroll practices and relevant legislation and statutory requirements
