We are working with our client who is looking for a Payroll Officer for their Practice in Coffs Harbour.

About the role

As a Payroll Officer you will provide a high level of accurate data entry and administration including payroll and liaising with clients.

In this role you will be working hands-on with a selection of valued clients assuming end to end responsibility for client payroll ensuring Superannuation and other legislative/statutory obligations are accurate and delivered within appropriate time frames whilst also assisting the wider team as required.


  • Preparation and completion of monthly payroll compliance
  • Single touch payroll
  • Superannuation
  • Payroll tax
  • Develop and build strong relationships with clients
  • Data entry and processing of accounts for our payroll clients into MYOB / Xero / Excel
  • Client data management as required


  • Payroll processing and reporting with MYOB/Xero/Excel software
  • Competency with use of; Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Proficient in all aspects of Electronic Transfers using ABA files to bank
  • Bookkeeping experience, including Balance Sheet operations
  • Ability to instruct others with transparency and friendliness
