We are currently looking for a talented, proactive and enthusiastic Payroll Administrator to join our Shared Services Team. This is an entry level role and is a fantastic opportunity for a recent Graduate to kickstart their career in the dynamic and ever-changing recruitment industry.
The Shared Services Team is a combination of many internal departments that consists of onboarding new staff, resourcing, invoicing, customer service, initiating contracts and administrative duties.

Daily Duties:
In this role you would be responsible for:

  • Create, maintain and update accurate employee payroll records in a timely manner.
  • Fortnightly processing of payroll including payment of PAYG
  • Respond to employees queries relating to payroll.
  • Interpretation of policies, legislation, awards and agreements to ensure accuracy of payroll and to provide accurate and timely advice.
  • Processing payment of superannuation contributions of employees on a monthly basis within required timeframes.
  • Timely calculation and processing of Workers Compensation wage claims.
  • Accurate calculation and reconciliation of various leave accruals as required.
  • Accurate calculation of other payments as required.
  • Ensure confidentiality when completing all payroll duties and exercise discretion when speaking with colleagues.
  • Assist with the development of any policies, procedures and forms related to payroll in line with continuous improvement and quality.
  • Contribute to regular payroll reporting and provide reports as required


About You:
In order to be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience providing an end-to-end payroll service including the interpretation of information from relevant industrial instruments
  • Switched on and able to work at a fast pace
  • Self driven and proven work ethic
  • Proven experience and competence in the use of payroll systems
  • Experience using SAP and/or Bullhorn will be beneficial but not necessary
