Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Payroll Audit Officer on a contract for 12 Weeks, with potential extensions of 4 Weeks.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge of Federal Government (APS) payroll conditions, and calculation methodologies
  • Knowledge of all superannuation fund requirements including define benefits superannuation funds. Superannuation Guarantee (Administration) Act 1992
  • Payroll audit experience, ability to identify and analyse data
  • Timely and accurate reporting, data integrity and analysis
  • Interpret and understand relevant legislation, and taxation rulings
  • Effectively communicating with a range of stakeholders as required
  • Develop communication to relevant stakeholders, including the ability to brief internal stakeholders
  • Experience with HRIS, preferable SAP
  • Work independently with the capability to prioritise workloads
