About the organisation:

Our Federal Government client supports a better life for hundreds of thousands of Australians with a significant and permanent disability and their families and carers. The client is an independent statutory agency that is responsible for implementing the federal governments disability scheme.

About the role:

An unparalleled opportunity has arisen for an efficient and effective team player to help implement efficient payment resolution processes to support the rollout out of service programs that make a genuine positive impacts in peoples' lives. You will collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders to achieve enormous positive influence on the lives of people living with disability.

Key Duties:

  • Investigating and resolving outstanding payment requests that have been rejected through the provider and participant portals.
  • Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to resolve payment enquiries.
  • Processing manual payments to providers and self-managed participants.
  • Working to resolve payment issues, guided by legislation, NDIA policies and standards, and Payments Branch Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Skills & Experience:

  • 12 months'+ experience in administration preferably within an accounts payable role or similar.
  • Strong attention to detail and track record of working efficiently and effectively within a fast-paced operations environment
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
  • Tertiary Qualifications within a relevant disciple is desirable but not essential.
