Our Client is a local private medical imaging practice with services and operations that are designed to cater for the unique needs of our referring clinicians and patients. An opportunity currently exists for a suitably experienced Patient Consultant to join their team in a permanent full time capacity.

The primary focus of the Patient Consultant will be to warmly greet patients and ensure their experience at the branch is tailored to their individual needs in a caring, efficient and high quality manner. This position will be the first point of contact for patients entering the practice.

The daily duties of the Patient Consultant will include, but not be limited to;

  • Greeting patients upon their entry to the practice and assisting them with all things prior to and following their appointment
  • Taking bookings and making appointments
  • Performing the workflow function
  • Liaising with reporting radiologists, technical and administrative staff
  • Reception duties and general administrative assistance

    In a customer focused role, candidates will;
  • Have exceptional customer service skills and demonstrated experience working in a face-to-face position
  • Be an excellent communicator with both written and verbal skills
  • Have the ability to display compassion and empathy to clients
  • Have the ability to provide superior customer service skills to all clients
  • Have experience working in a fast paced environment including high volume customer service
  • Have the flexibility to work 38 hours per week around a rotating roster (day shifts)
