About the role:

The Park Manager is directly responsible to the Senior Operations Manager and works with the park team to ensure the property is operated professionally and efficiently to deliver the parks performance objectives.

This is a broad role that requires strong business acumen and a "hands on" approach. The Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of The Park, being ultimately accountable for the implementation of the Parks strategic plan and financial performance.

  • Financial management - Effectively manage the park budget, identifying new income opportunities and expense savings.
  • Mange staff rostering to ensure optimum guest experience and effective management of resources
  • Follow WH&S legislation and regulations and manage WHS in line with WHS operational plan
  • Manage customer service in line with the customer service charter and Guest Experience KPI's.
  • Manage the business in accordance with the approved Park Business Plan
  • Ensure the implementation and management of approved Reflections Holiday Parks policies and procedures
  • Manage and coordinate local promotional activities in line with the operational plan and broader Reflections brand and marketing strategy
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders in line with the operational plan
  • Manage services and utilities in line with the operational plan
  • Manage Park presentation and cleanliness in line with the operational plan
  • Manage security in line with the operational plan
  • Manage staff in line with the operational plan
  • Respond to incidents / emergencies at the Park.
  • Be on call for after-hours incidents / emergencies at the Parks



Essential

  • Current Driver Licence
  • Current Working with Children Check clearance for paid employment
  • Experience in asset maintenance, repairs and outdoor cleaning
  • Experience in gardening and/or maintaining grounds
  • Experience in leading a team in a customer service environment
  • Ability to work productively and independently
  • Ability to manage time to meet priorities
  • Strong computer skills and learning capabilities
  • Ability to learn quickly, use initiative and adapt to changing work environments
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Ability to accept a high level of responsibility
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of Work Health and Safety regulations and safe work practices
  • Willing to reside on site and provide support after hours.



Desirable

  • Experience in tourism or hospitality
  • Chemical Handling and Storage Certificate
  • Boat Licence
  • Certificate III in Holiday Parks and Resorts or formal qualifications in Leadership and Management
  • First Aid Certificate
