About the role

The Park Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Park, and the implementation of the Parks' strategic operational plan.

  • Build team skills through coaching, training and developing staff
  • Create a culture of accountability by discussing performance metrics, goals and KPIs with the team
  • Ensure all staff and contractors follow correct procedures and deliver expected work outcome in line with the values and behaviours required for success
  • Drive a culture of excellent customer service and Park presentation
  • Rostering and timesheet approvals using Reflections "TANDA" cloud management system
  • Ensure operational compliance with regulations and legislation
  • Ensure consistent, onsite stakeholder management and communications follow the agreed Communications Plan for the Wyangala Dam wall raising project
  • Act as the communications link between Park staff and the Corporate office on the Wyangala Dam project, ensuring only approved messaging is communicated to Stakeholders


  • Current Driver Licence
  • Current Working with Children Check clearance for paid employment
  • Experience in asset maintenance, repairs and outdoor cleaning
  • Experience in gardening and/or maintaining grounds
  • Experience in leading a team in a customer service environment
  • Ability to work productively and independently
  • Ability to manage time to meet priorities
  • Strong computer skills and learning capabilities
  • Ability to learn quickly, use initiative and adapt to changing work environments
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Ability to accept a high level of responsibility
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of Work Health and Safety regulations and safe work practices
  • Willing to reside on site and provide support after hours.


  • Experience in tourism or hospitality
  • Chemical Handling and Storage Certificate
  • Boat Licence
  • Certificate III in Holiday Parks and Resorts or formal qualifications in Leadership and Management
  • First Aid Certificate
