Chandler Macleod are seeking an experienced Outreach Program Support Officer to work within the Federal Government.

About the role:
The Outreach Program Support Officer is responsible for managing the region's Outreach Program which may include duties relating to the recruitment and on boarding of Outreach Providers, processing of client referrals and outreach workflow management. A high level of collaboration will be involved with the Outreach Coordinator, clinical support team and the regional management team. You will provide front line customer service for clients who may be facing significant or complex challenges. You may also be allocated additional core functions to assist the region in meeting high volume of clinical support work. This may include office management, outreach billing, secretariat duties or other corporate support activities.


  • Outreach Provider Management
    o Assist the Outreach Coordinator in the recruitment, on boarding and induction of Outreach Counsellor Providers
    o Provide CMS training to Outreach Counsellors in your region
    o Maintenance of Outreach Counsellor databases including the CMS
  • Outreach Program Coordination
    o Facilitate the initial entry point for Outreach Counsellor communications, contact and requests
    o Conduct service file audit checks prior to progressing requests to clinical team (rostered outreach counsellors)
    o Manage the Outreach Program workflows, tasks and messages to ensure a timely response
    o Escalate clinical matters including all risk issues directly to the Outreach Coordinator and/or Assistant Director Clinical Coordination
    o Apply quality assurance procedures to ensure all aspects of clinical reporting and financial requirements meet contractual obligations
  • Clinical Support
    o Audit and compliance including training of the clinical support team members
    o Assist in the delivery of a professional, warm and friendly reception service by providing front counter management and support with incoming calls
    o Outreach billing and invoicing including oversight of the 'Outreach Error Report'
    o Other duties as determined by the Regional Clinical Practice Manager
