Outage Coordinator

About the role

We are currently seeking 3 Outage Coordinators for our business in preparation for upcoming outage and capital works projects at our Loy Yang Asset.

As Outage Coordinator you will support the Outage Leader in the safe execution and successful delivery of assigned outage works, working in consultation with key stakeholders in accordance with internal regulatory frameworks, policies and the outage plan, aimed at achieving minimal disruption to production.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Supporting the Outage Leader in the successful delivery of quality, cost and schedule for work completed within area of responsibility.

Take full ownership of allocated responsibilities

Support in the management and coordination of all internal and external resources for outage delivery.

Supporting the Outage Leader in developing outage work packages for detailed planning and execution by outage partners.

Working with discipline to set tasks, schedule work and meet strict reporting and completion deadlines.

To identify and support the ordering of all materials, spares and supporting services required to complete the defined work scope.

Utilising tools and systems to track progress of cost and schedule, for review and decision making. Support implementing of necessary mitigating actions where required, for outage delivery.

To undertake duties as defined in Outage Management Framework.

Ensuring that all Health, Safety and Environment Systems and goals are introduced and adhered to while meeting the organisations policies and standards for HSE Management

About you

To be successful, you'll have:

A tertiary qualification in a relevant engineering discipline (or) Advanced Diploma (TAFE) with relevant industry experience or Trade Qualification with experience in power station maintenance.

Working knowledge of power station plant and associated systems (or similar systems within industry), maintenance practices, operational and engineering processes.

Intermediate knowledge of MS Project and or Primavera.

Experience in the use of SAP highly regarded.

Understanding of financial and risk management principles highly regarded.

Experience in estimation of cost for scope, setting, maintaining and reporting on budgets highly regarded.

Experience in job planning, work method statements and demonstrated experience in coordination of resources.

Strong commitment to workplace health, safety and environment. Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, rules and regulations.
