We are looking to find an engaging, and organised Operations Manager to join their team in a full-time capacity. The role will contract manage and lead service based organisational functions including a 24-hour telephone crisis support service, workplace and community training initiatives, clinical governance and bereavement services and a Gambling reduction and financial Counselling program.

About the Role
An opportunity exists for a emotionally intelligent and entrepreneurial individual to lead and manage the service based organisational functions. The role will manage the profit and loss,risk, and contracts associated with a 24-hour telephone crisis support service, workplace and community training initiatives and a regional Gambling reduction and financial Counselling program in a vibrant, positive, and progressive organisation in the role of Operations Manager.

Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for the operational leadership of these programs in accordance with any legislative and compliance requirements, while balancing the stakeholder engagement, contract management and fiscal management of the services

About You
To be successful in this role you will need to be an experienced and driven individual with strong innovative spirit. You will possess financial and operational acumen, experience leading programs in not for profit environments and are able to manage and grow these portfolios through business and organisational excellence.

In addition, you will have proven experience in leading teams and overseeing multiple projects that provide services to the community or similar. As an energetic and driven Operations Manager, you will have exceptional communication and engagement skills, allowing you to act as a public 'spokesperson' for the programs you lead. Key to this role will be building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including clients, other service providers and relevant Government agencies.

The successful applicant will have outstanding personal attributes including personal drive and integrity, advanced written, verbal communication, and consultation skills as well as a sound knowledge and experience in project management in the not-for-profit sector as well as,
  • Professional, focused and committed to the cause
  • MBA or business qualifications preferred
  • At least 5 years experience in a senior leadership role
  • Experience in managing and leading regional and dispersed teams
  • Grant writing, acquittals and reporting
  • Remote or regional project management experience
