    We are looking for an Operations Administrator to support and take accountability for operational execution and customer service in Melbourne CBD.

    We're looking for an experienced, competent and proactive Primary Freight Operations Administrator to Adapt, modify and interpret procedures and tools to the Team Leader of Operations.

    Offering a 6 months contract, you will be working full-time within a fast-paced environment and will be required to work through Christmas except the public holidays.
    Key Responsibilities:
  • Integration of compliance requirements into business planning and practices
  • Communicating and reinforcing the importance of compliance as part of business culture
  • Resolving, managing and reporting compliance incidents
  • Ensuring team member compliance, training and development is adequately addressed
  • Accountable for all PM shift operational execution and customer service for Primary Freight, ultimately ensuring the team meets or exceeds service targets
  • Monitor transport movements
  • Communicate and ultimately negotiate/influence stakeholders to recover late DC arrivals, rejections and carrier "no shows"
  • Execute urgent adhoc requests and manual shipments when required
  • Ensure ongoing carrier issues and concern are recorded and escalated to the Network Carrier Manager when required

    To be successful for this role you must have:
  • Experience in transport and/or supply chain covering FMCG is essential
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build effective internal and external working relationships across various levels
  • Ability to work autonomously to make key decisions in a timely manner
  • Experience of working with 1-Net or other transport management systems
  • Proven ability to be proactive, fast paced, demanding and resilient

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge and skills
  • Excellent numerical, planning and software exposure/skills
  • 1 Net or other transport system experience
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and work in a flexible and methodical way
