Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Negotiator Consultant on a contract for 18 Months.

Position Overview

Our Client is seeking a consultant with the required capability, commercial acumen and capacity to provide a high level of contract negotiation expertise during the establishment process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • ensure that its procurement framework is adhered to both during and following the contract negotiations.
  • act as the single point of contact for EA contract negotiations and represent SSICT in an effort to secure the Territory a favourable contractual outcome.
  • represent the contractual outcomes, benefits and cost break down to directorates.
  • provide commercial advice on the pricing negotiated. The outcome of negotiations, including a comparison to current contract pricing, will be provided in an evaluation report once negotiations are complete.

Essential Criteria:

  • Canberra Region Local Industry Participation Policy
  • Capacity to provide the advisory services outlined in the Statement of Requirement (SoR) over the term of the engagement
  • Experience and expertise in Microsoft licensing and negotiations
