Currently seeking an experienced and energetic National Business Development to join a Not-For-Profit Organisation. My clients mission is to help society's most vulnerable as they care for people, create faith pathways, build healthy communities and work for justice.

They are passionate about the work they do in empowering community members through delivering a number of support services at the highest standards. To continue operating at these standards we are seeking an experienced National Business Development Manager to join the team

The Role
Your daily duties in this position will include:
  • Coordinate the work of and support the Business Development Managers with their local and regional initiatives and work programs.
  • Take ownership of the EPlus business development function, lead the BDM meetings, and develop the BD team into a high performing unit.
  • Set industry and sector priority targets, driving accountability within regions and states in support of the Workforce Australia and DES program recruitment teams.
  • Develop and lead the implementation of national Business & Employer engagement Plans.
  • Establish, maintain, and nurture strategic partnerships with local community leaders, employers, and industry organisations, delivering on EPlus' placed based strategies as priorities.
  • Lead the implementation processes for identifying new national business opportunities through customer research, networking, and referrals.
  • Directly manage key national partnerships & large employer relationships.
  • Oversee Local Job Plan (LJP) opportunities as advertised from time to time by DEWR, and build strong relationships with the DEWR Local Job coordinators.
  • Lead the opportunity analysis and pipeline process for capturing and progressing new opportunities through to a successful conclusion.
  • Maintain the competitor analyses, and work with the ELT to identify collaboration opportunities across programs and geographies.
  • Support the implementation of training programs and partnerships with national organisations across multiple EPlus regions and employment programs, including working with the EST team.

About you
In order to be successful for the role, you will need:
  • Degree qualification or significant relevant experience in Business or Marketing/Sales.
  • More than 5 years in the Employment Services sector, with national / regional responsibility in demonstrably building key partnerships & relationships.
  • Formal training in solution selling / strategic account management.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • High level of communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal) coupled with a high level of customer focus and customer service.
  • Advanced B2B sales, regional business development or senior account management experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of employment services industry and /or commercial recruitment sector highly desirable.
  • High level organisational skills, ability to work within short timeframes and manage competing demands.

Requirements of the role
  • A national police record check is required
  • WWCC is required
  • Driver's licence is essential
  • Compulsory Code of Conduct, WHS and Bullying and Harassment training modules are completed and up to date
  • Capacity to travel regularly between sites and states as required
