Your new role
Your new role as a Customer Service Advisor is part of the NAB Merchant Servicing Operations. In this role your responsibilities will include:

  • answering inbound phone calls from Corporate and Business Merchant Customers
  • working in a highly regarded team where the culture is about maintaining a reputation as the "Centre for Excellence"
  • Day to day you will be applying your problem-solving skills in resolving issues around the NAB EFTPOS terminals, from fixing the terminals, talking through programming issues, managing outages to querying and investigating transactions
  • You will be listening to and reassuring customers of their situation and advising them of the best possible solution
  • Communicating via e-mail and phone, both to customers and business bankers.

You will have a rotating roster between Monday to Friday 7am to 7pm, offering full time hours at a total of 37.5 hours per week.

You will have the opportunity to participate in a comprehensive training program that will run for 6-8 weeks from Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm.

Start date: 26/7/22.

This is based at NAB's Knox Office, Wantirna South. Your hourly rate will be $29.59/hr plus super.

Offering a 12 months position with view to permanent in NAB business banking space.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous customer service/administration experience (favourable)
  • Must be well organised and ability to prioritise tasks and meet timelines.
  • Willingness to learn new ideas and processes
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Enjoy reaching and exceeding KPIs
