Chandler Macleod in partnership with a leading national Transport client are seeking multiple Transport industry professionals, to join their team, located in Melbournes western suburbs.

The two available roles, Warehouse Transport Team Leader and Warehouse Operations Manager, are available for immediate start for the right candidates and are detailed below.

Warehouse Transport Team Leader - $75k + superannuation
Duties include but not limited to:
  • Oversee stock control and processing receipts and orders
  • Input and manage data in F20/20 and other systems
  • Daily, weekly and monthly customer reports as requested
  • Keep stock control systems up to date and plan future capacity requirements
  • Pick/Pack Operations
  • Despatch and checking of orders
  • Pallet Storage and control
  • Continuous cycle counts on all products and as required by the customer
  • Quarantine Stock control as required
  • Liaise with internal transport operations and sub-contractors for stock despatch
  • Sort and place material on racks, shelves, or in bins
  • Mark materials with identifying information
  • Receive and verify accuracy of incoming shipments
  • Prepare merchandise for transport
  • Maintain accurate inventory records
  • Complete regular housekeeping tasks
  • Ensure accuracy in all paperwork
  • Stock take duties incl. cycle counting, stock takes as required
  • Equipment maintenance and servicing e.g. organising services forklifts etc.
  • Ensure Traffic Management is adhered to.

Warehouse Operations Manager - $95-100k + superannuation
Duties include but not limited to:
  • Apply problem solving skills to complex situations and develop effective and positive solutions;
  • Being involved in Depot Layout (Stock Movements/Cross Stock etc.)
  • Control of all inbound/outbound container movements
  • Oversee the on-boarding process of all new team members and ensure training requirements are fulfilled
  • Create an environment that supports teamwork, values our leadership qualities
  • Documenting/Recording information: entering, recording, storing and maintaining information in written or electronic form in computer systems and hardcopy
  • Organising, planning and prioritising work load
  • Produce operations reports as required
  • Approving of all Employee Leave in line with Leave policy & requirements
  • Determine learning development opportunities for direct reports to undertake
  • Coach and mentor direct reports, provide performance feedback, encouragement and counselling as required
  • Resolving workplace complaints, conflicts and grievances within the workplace in line with HR policies
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to Health & Safety
  • Carry out safety responsibilities as per all company issued Policies and procedures, Safe operating processes, Code of Conduct
  • Ensure overall operations of site and logistics are maintained as expected
  • Overview operations to ensure that all team members are following RCT Policies, procedures and in line with legislation requirements;
  • Conduct regular formal and informal performance management discussions;
