Mobile Plant Operators needed for major road maintenance projects across the Narrandera area, working with a NSW Government Agency who are leaders in the development of safe, integrated and efficient transport systems for NSW.

Civil construction, maintenance and the ability to operate plant machinery (bobcats, excavators, loaders, rollers) is essential.

Job Title: Plant Operator
Location: Narrandera
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 6 months (Potential for Extension)
Pay Rate: $41.44 per hour plus Superannuation and applicable penalty allowances
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8.5hrs per day - 9 day fortnight with potential for overtime where required

The Successful candidate should have:
  • OH&S Card (White Card)
  • Worker on Foot Ticket (or willingness to obtain - online course)
  • Plant Machinery Experience - bobcats and excavators
  • Current drivers licence - MR or above
  • Traffic Control tickets (or willingness to obtain)
  • Safety focused - working in a safe manner and maintaining a safe work environment

    Extra skills in the following are desirable but not essential:
  • Civil experience: pipe laying, machine operating and spotting,
  • Construction and maintenance of roads and associated assets
  • Experience operating power tools
