Newmont Boddington Gold is the largest gold producing mine in Australia and is taking full advantage of innovative, state-of-the-art technology and processing methods. This multi-billion dollar mine will provide the opportunity for you to utilise your skills and experience in a clean and safe mining environment.

Working at Newmont Boddington Gold Operations you can live locally and go home after every shift or stay in the Village for your swing and DIDO. The site is only 130kms from the Perth CBD and approximately 100kms from the coast.

The Role:

  • Taking a maintenance plan and bring together all the resources needed to complete it.
  • Schedule planned maintenance activities, including inspections, shutdowns, project and adhoc work activities according to priority, operational needs and resourcing availability.
  • Develop a program of works ensuring that all work orders have completed work packages and available materials before they are placed on the schedule.
  • Schedule work in a manner that minimises interruptions and operations downtime in order to help control costs and maximise operational productivity.
  • Be the key collaborator between maintenance and production along with other departments in determining the timing of execution of planned maintenance works.
  • Monitoring and analysing of past maintenance schedule executions will also identify future improvement opportunities.

Your Training, Skills & Experience Checklist:

  • Five years maintenance experience
  • Trade qualification or similar
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a maintenance scheduler and or planner.
  • Strong PC skills and computer literacy
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team
  • Current "A" Class Drivers Licence
