We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Equipment Maintenance Engineer, working a 5/2 : 4/3 roster with our client, one of Australia's largest producing gold mines . The role represents a fantastic opportunity to cement a career with one of WA's premier mining companies.

About the Role

  • DIDO working a 5/2 :4/3 roster, 40 hour week. Stay in the camp at site or daily commute for local candidates
  • Work closely with mine maintenance, mining operations and business partners to identify and resolve problems related to the safety, asset integrity and breakdown of Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME)
  • Provide Technical support to the Mine Maintenance Superintendents, Supervisors & Tradespeople
  • Resolving complex technical and warranty issues, improving the reliability of the mining fleet
  • Highly competitive market rates
  • 10% Super on all hours worked

What you Bring:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or similar area of specialisation
  • Diverse maintenance and reliability experience with HME in the mining industry
  • Experience in Precision fitment, Hydraulic systems, lubrication, materials selection, Computerized Maintenance Management Systems, Condition Monitoring systems and techniques
  • Experience with quality assurance and control regimes for equipment overhaul and onsite repair
  • Well-developed communication skills to liaise effectively with work groups
  • Sound knowledge of safety, health and environmental regulations
  • Effective planning and project management skills will be well regarded
