One of our clients, a leading provider of Iron Ore Provider in Western Australia, is seeking the services of an experienced Minesite Daily Scheduler initially on a 6 month contract on an 8:6 roster.

The main duties of this role include:

  • Providing a clear daily mine plan, aligned to the weekly sequence
  • Monitor various schedules to ensure compliance across the mine site
  • Providing guidance for all teams on site
  • Liaising with personnel throughout the HUB to fully understand needs and requirements site-wide

Successful candidates will have the following work experience:

Qualifications:

  • MUST HAVE Tertiary Degree in Mining Engineering or Civil Engineering.
  • WA class C driver license.


Skills:

  • Exposure to mine planning (preferable).
  • Exposure to Grade control (preferable).
  • Sound computer skills with Microsoft office (Excel, Power point, Word, etc.) and mining software (Vulcan experience preferred).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Focus in detail and mathematical aptitude.
  • Flexible to change and embraces improvement.


Experience:

  • Minimum 3 yrs experience in Open Cut Mining environment.
  • Experience in remote area work environment.
  • Strong Microsoft Office essential - Vulcan experience beneficial
  • Experienced & comfortable with FIFO work

The successful candidate will be required to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug Screen and provide a current WA Drivers Licence and Australian working rights.
