Are you an experienced Mechanical or Maintenance Fitter looking for an exciting opportunity? Chandler Macleod is searching for motivated and experienced Fitters and Mechanics to join the team in Sunshine West.

About the Company:
Our client is a national business that offers multiple drilling and blasting services, with over 30 years’ experience in the civil, mining and quarrying sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on drilling equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems, engines, and drill bits.
  • Inspect and diagnose equipment problems and develop and implement effective solutions.
  • Ensure that all equipment is safe and fully operational before use.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
  • Communicate effectively with other members of the team and provide guidance and support as needed.
Key Requirements:
  • Experience in fitting and repairing equipment and vehicles
  • Diesel or Mechanical trade qualification
  • Strong knowledge of industry best practices & safety standards
  • Drivers Licence- ability to drive a manual vehicle
