Our client is seeking to engage a Market and Optimisation Manager on a contract for 6 months.

Position Overview

The Commercial Cards Market and Optimisation Manager will be tasked with originating new business opportunities within existing key client relationships.

The individual will develop variety of approaches to succeed in meeting an annual "wins" goal across multiple card products, including acting as a consultative resource to assist in identifying and finalizing expansion opportunities. Close coordination and communication will be required with the Service (CAS), Coverage and Sales teams, as well as with Banking and Solution Sales Organization.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Building a sales pipeline of cross-sell opportunities within our existing cards portfolio
  • Understanding Client's current payment processes, identifying cardable flows, and providing Corporates with compelling arguments to implement change
  • Deal replication, especially within industry verticals
  • Supporting the CAS and AM teams by increasing industry knowledge and ability to use consultative selling approaches
  • Work closely with Product organization to develop product positioning and sales materials
  • Pricing negotiations with Clients ensuring realistic returns whilst remaining competitive
  • Influence Clients to implement quickly to expedite revenue realization
  • Participate in customer roundtables and industry conferences.
  • Interface with various levels of decision maker within client base

Our Ideal candidate will have:

  • Commercial Cards product knowledge
  • Cards account management experience
  • Relevant Degree
  • Presentation and Microsoft Excel
  • Consultative approach to identify payment solutions for clients
  • This role requires strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to plan and execute against strategic objectives. Core competencies would include the ability to understand the technical aspects of commercial cards and as well as strong account management and sales skills.
