Our client, a global leader in the manufacture of carbonated beverages, bottled water, beer and juice is currently seeking the services of a Manufacturing Supervisor for an immediate start at their Goodna manufacturing facility.

The Successful Candidate:

  • Has experience working in an FMTG Manufacturing Industry (preferred).
  • Will be able to work in a high-pressure environment with set operational targets.
  • Can demonstrate extensive experience working with people and teams at all management levels.
  • Has Lab and analytical experience (advantageous).
  • Can demonstrate experience training other team members in a manufacturing environment.
  • Holds a forklift ticket and relevant experience working in an FMTCG environment.

Requirements of the Role:

  • Optimising production performance and processes of to ensure that production requirements are blended in accordance with the published production plan.
  • Completing administration work for the shift as required.
  • Managing crewing and performance development of shift resources in accordance with HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring the execution of the production plan.
  • Assisting in the preparation and implementation of plans that produce required outcomes, including materials, machine maintenance and subordinate deployment.
  • Providing line relief activities to maintain the continuous operations of the line.
  • Being accountable for the quality of product/process within assigned work areas and acts appropriately to rectify issues as identified.
  • Completing process area check sheets and inspections accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring process area meets company standards in GMP and HACCP.
  • Assisting in the investigation of consumer and/or customer complaints (internal and external) as required.
  • Controlling raw material inventory for specific process activities and reports usage for appropriate replenishment.
  • Ensuring labour costs are in line with budget.
  • Managing overtime costs.
  • Undertaking the management of cost impact related to performance.
