About the role
We are partnering one of Australia's leading resources companies, to secure the services of an experienced Maintenance Planner.

The key requirement of the role is to improve and optimise maintenance efficiency, productivity and quality through scoping, planning, scheduling and co-ordination of maintenance resources, parts, materials and access to plant equipment.

This assignment is a temp 3-month contract based in Kwinana, working 38 hours a week with overtime possible (up to 45 hours) and after hours calls, with an ASAP start. Some site travel may be required.

To be successful in this role, you will require the following:

  • Trade or asset maintenance qualifications or minimum of 2 years of planning/scheduling experience
  • Experience in a heavy industry background, preferably within the Oil and Gas, Mobile Equipment or similar environment
  • Strong technical aptitude
  • Strong focus on continuous improvement and commercial awareness
  • Experience in CMMS programs and the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Clear understanding of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodology
  • Leadership skills
  • System/process orientated
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
  • Strong peer and customer engagement skills.
  • Lateral thinker
