Due to recent developments, our Client has the exciting permanent opportunity of a Maintenance Manager for their site based in Hanwood NSW.

Reporting to the Site Engineer this role requires a trade qualified, self-motivated person who can demonstrate strong leadership and the ability to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Ensure the maintenance department operates efficiently, comply to the Company's policies and procedures as well as to Statutory and Legal requirements.
  • Manage resources such that maintenance requests are prioritized appropriately to meet the business needs and expectations.
  • Drive and model a leadership style and behavior that always supports a safety culture.
  • Managing the departmental budget.
  • Drive cultural change through effective leadership and empower all staff members within the team to unleash their full potential.
  • Manage people to deliver exceptional service.

    Requirements:
  • Strong system experience in MEX maintenance system.
  • Maintenance Management experience.
  • Dual electrical and mechanical background is preferred.
  • Ability to work afternoon shifts and weekends on an on-call basis.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships.
