Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role is available due to career progression. If you are looking to move forward in your career with a well recognized, respected brand this role may be what you are looking for.

Pay rate - $42.50 + Allowances

Location - Westdale

The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out all work in accordance with WHS, GMP and EMS processes as applicable, ensuring repairs and maintenance are completed in an efficient, safe and timely manner.

You must meet the following mandatory requirements prior to applying:

  • Australian Recognized Trade Qualified Diesel Fitter
  • Previous experience working within a maintenance team in a manufacturing environment
  • Australian Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen
  • Have a stable work history and an excellent work ethic
  • Car and Full License
  • Vaccinated against Covid

Preferred skills and experience:

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to make definitive decisions under pressure
  • Strong mechanical aptitude

Desired skills and experience as follows:

  • Understanding of Quality systems, HACCP procedures and impact upon environment
  • Experience in a high pressure manufacturing industry (prefer food related)
