Chandler Macleod are currently looking for a trade qualified Maintenance Fitter with previous experience within a food processing environment.

The successful applicant will be required to work a 4 day rotating roster with regular weekend overtime available.

Duties of this role will include:
  • Contributing to the efficiency of plant by assisting to identify improvement and automation opportunities
  • Preventative maintenance of all Plant and Equipment
  • Ensuring optimal production efficiency and downtime is minimised
  • Project work including new equipment installations and commissioning
  • Breakdown repairs and troubleshooting
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks
What do we need from you?
  • Must have manufacturing industry experience (FMCG industry experience is highly regarded)
  • PLC knowledge and experience
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Have strong communication and troubleshooting skills and be able to follow instructions
  • Be committed to your safety and the safety of others in the workplace
  • No birds, pigs or chickens at your place of residence
