Our client, a large Coal Mining Company, is seeking for an experienced Administration Assistant, preferably with BHP systems experience, for an immediate start.

About the role

  • Provide General Administration Support to Department Manager and key stakeholders
  • Management of generic admin email account
  • Document and Records Handling and Management, including archiving
  • Stationery and Uniform Orders
  • Scanning, Photocopying and Printing
  • Mail Distribution
  • Reception duties including customer service
  • Upkeep of Deeception duties including customer service
  • Upkeep of Department Registerspartment Register
  • Organise Travel requirements
  • Event Planning and Organisation
  • Catering Orders
  • Conference Room Bookings
  • Management of Department Noticeboards
  • Minute taking / meeting and agenda preparation
  • Supervise administration Trainee
  • Adhoc Project work
  • Various Data Entry requirements


About You

  • You will be an experienced administrator with a proven ability to work autonomously, proactively establish priorities and meet time critical deadlines. 
  • Your strong communication, problem solving and organisational skills will be an asset, as will your attention to detail and your talent to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy. 
  • With the ability to work in a fast paced environment, as well as being able to manage various and conflicting priorities with excellent attention to detail, you will have a proven ability to successfully provide high-level support.  
  • You will have advanced technical proficiency within Microsoft Office packages and the ability to efficiently manage multiple work processes in a busy and complex environment.
  • Experience with SAP is desirable but not essential in this role;

Requirements:
  • Drivers' Licence
  • Current Coal Board Medical desired
  • Current Standard 11 desired
