Chandler Macleod are seeking skilled and experienced individuals to operate machinery for Mesh (Steel) production with our reputable client located in the South Eastern Suburbs in Melbourne. We take pride in partnering up with our client - a leading manufacturer and supplier of steel reinforcing in Australia.

On the lookout for reliable and hardworking people, in a fast-paced environment and competent in operating bending, cutting bar or Mesh steel machines. Ability to operate overhead gantry cranes.

About the Role
Casual Ongoing shifts available across day, afternoon and night shifts with a great payrate between $35-$38 per hour with the potential for long-term opportunities.

Main Skills required

  • Cutting of steel bars and mesh
  • Forming and bending of steel
  • Binding steel products up ready for dispatch
  • Fast paced environment
  • Using overhead gantry crane to load up trucks
  • Using general hand and Power tools
  • Forklift Licence an advantage
