Chandler Macleod are seeking motivating Machine Operators to join our client, located in Noble Park, who continue to lead the journey towards making sustainable steel in Australia.

Shifts

  • Monday to Friday
  • Dayshift - 7am - 3.30pm (multiple positions)
  • Afternoon Shift - 3pm - 11.30pm

Your duties will include (but are not limited to):

On a daily basis, you will be responsible for setting, operating and programming the machinery to achieve optimum efficiency and productivity. This position may also be involved in warehousing and distribution of steel products using overhead cranes and forklifts.


The successful applicant will have the following experience and skills:
  • Have a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn
  • Experience in steel industry (highly regarded)
  • Have a good eye for detail
  • Communicates well
  • Able to follow instructions and work well in a team environment
  • Mechanically minded
  • Motivated and good timekeeping
