About Alcoa Australia:

Alcoa's Australian operations represent the world's largest integrated bauxite mining, alumina refining, aluminium smelting and rolling system. Also operating the country's largest aluminium recycling plant, Alcoa adds value to Australia's local, state and national economies at every stage. Alcoa currently operates two bauxite mines within its Western Australian Mineral Lease. The Huntly mine, established in the early 1970s is located near Dwellingup and is the world's largest bauxite mine, supplying bauxite ore to the Pinjarra and Kwinana Refineries. The Willowdale mine is located east of Waroona and supplies bauxite ore to the Wagerup Refinery.
We are currently taking Expressions of Interest from Light Vehicle Mechanics wanting to work at one of Alcoa's bauxite mines located in Dwellingup or Waroona. Successful applicants will go into a candidate pool to be contacted when vacancies become available.

To be considered for the Talent Pool you must have:

  • An Australian recognised Automotive Mechanical Trade certificate
  • Experience with scheduled and breakdown maintenance on Toyota Fleet cars including Landcruiser, Prado, Aurion & Hilux.
  • Ability to start work a short notice
  • Live locally to site

    Please note that these roles are residential and you will commute to and from site on a daily basis. You own local accommodation, vehicle and drivers licence are essential.
