Although Australian based, they have warehouses in three continents and export to over 25 countries.

They are currently seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to join their growing team in a full-time capacity.

As the Logistics Manager you will be responsible for the overall processes of logistics, order management, in-bound and out-bound shipments, and inventory overview for all regions world-wide.
Working closely with internal and external stakeholders and supply chain teams, you will ensure the appropriate logistics service levels across the various distribution channels in the regions are properly delivered, in respect of cost budgets for warehouse and freight, as well as all activity required to fulfill sales orders received from customers based in North America, Europe, and Asia domestic EDI orders.

In order to be considered for this role you will ideally possess the following skills and experience in the following,
  • A logistics professional with extensive end-to-end exposure across all aspects of planning, purchasing, logistics and supply chain management in a medium-sized international distribution business.
  • WMS and TMS systems - internal and 3PL
  • Knowledge of and experience with importing and exporting, including product movement between various countries.
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to create a strong rapport with internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead and manager a team of logistics personnel through coordination, scheduling and monitoring
  • Critical thinker and problem solver.
  • Computer literacy skills in Microsoft Office suite including Advanced Excel, Word, Outlook and Internet.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, organise work priorities, and focus on agreed targets
  • Self-motivated and a self-starter, showing initiative to get the job done
  • Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills
