Logistics Administration/Pallet Control

Purpose of Role

Performing daily operational activities concerning ULD's (pallets, roll cages, crates, produce bins, etc) within assigned scope. Ensure ULD processes are deployed and followed and accurate tracking and management of accounts occurs in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities to deliver value to our customers

  • ULD daily operations
  • Responsible for pallet control daily operations within assigned scope in line with National and State team guidance
  • Ensure that all pallets, totes, crates and roll cages are accounted for
  • Reconciliation of pallet invoices and accounts
  • Undertake regular and effective equipment stock takes
  • Working closely with Distribution Centre (DC) operations ensuring efficient processes and guidelines are followed, with a view to continuously improve and optimise the workflow
  • Coordination of equipment docket processes with DC staff, including dockets reconciliation
  • Creating and maintaining de hire records within 2ic in line with set processes and schedules
  • Take prompt action on any queries surrounding equipment control, problem solving
  • Ensure minimised loss of ULD equipment throughout end to end supply chain process
  • Ensure administrative process around equipment control are well documented and effective
  • Support ULD team leader with reporting or admin tasks as required
  • Conduct systems upload in line with the set processes and schedules
  • Support ULD team leader with Special event management as required
  • Build strong relationships with stores, DC operations and contracted carriers involved in the ULD network
  • Ensuring safe work practices are adhered to, promoting safety policies and procedures on an on-going basis


Knowledge & Experience

  • DC and transport operations experience is desirable
  • Knowledge of pallet control processes and systems within the transport
  • Understanding of basics of retail Supply Chain
  • Experience in administrative or office roles is desirable

  • Desirable account & ULD reconciliation skills
  • Desirable knowledge of 2ic systems
  • Solid computer skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • High level of attention to detail
