Coffs Harbour Pools require a highly motivated qualified Casual Competitive Strokes Instructor to assist Advanced Swimmers. The experienced Competitive Strokes Instructor will assist the Learn to Swim Team in directing the growing program and its dedicated swimmers to success in school swimming carnivals and Regional Swimming Competitions.

Work hours may include before or after school and weekends, including school holiday periods. The successful applicant must relate well to children and hold a current Working With Child Check.

Requirements

  • ASCTA Swimming and Water Safety Teacher accreditation, and / or AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety
  • Minimum Ascta / Austwim Competitive Strokes, or Bronze Coaching qualifications
  • Current CPR
  • Life Guard or willing to obtain
  • First aid or willing to obtain
  • Availability during the day and before/after school
  • Experienced Learn to Swim instructor
  • Previous experience working with various ages and abilities
  • International coaching experience an advantage
  • Professional manner
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Ability to correct and develop stroke technique and skills
  • Ability to be flexible with hours
  • Punctual
