Our client is a future-focused energy solutions business leader in the deployment of large-scale renewable energy and infrastructure projects.

We are currently recruiting Labourers/Trade Assistants for the Avonlie Solar Farm project near Narrandera (NSW) - approx. start date April 2022.

  • Employment Duration: Approximately 6 months
  • Hourly rate: $30-31/h + super + overtime + allowances
  • Working Hours Mo-Sat - 58h/week

Labourer

  • Construction of framework and associated equipment of solar supports and fitting of solar panels
  • Working in specific teams, with daily targets of completion
  • Working in a harmonious team environment and manner and willing to take instruction and guidance
  • Lifting, relocating and restocking of materials as well as basic assembly
  • General site cleaning and labouring duties including using hand and power tools
  • Extensive physical duties, manual handling and attention to detail

Requirements:

  • Previous outdoor labouring experience incl. using with hand/power tools (essential!)

Trade Assistant

  • Assisting Electricians with wiring and connections of solar panels/laying of conduit and/or assisting Labourers
  • Lifting, relocating and restocking of materials as well as basic assembly

Requirements:

  • Electrical aptitude and/or experience with electrical wires and components (essential!)

Both roles require

  • Construction Induction Card
  • Passing a pre-employment mobility/fitness assessment/drug & alcohol screening at the interview stage
  • Adhere to site hygiene requirements
  • Site requirement is to be vaccinated for COVID-19
