Are you an experienced Lab Automation Technician seeking a new opportunity to #unleashyourpotential in the WA Mining Industry?

One of our clients, a well-known entity in the Western Australian Mining Industry, is seeking the services of an experienced Lab Automation Technician to join the Chandler Macleod Team on their Site.

The main duties of this role include:

  • Analytical monitoring of plant processes
  • Responsible for obtaining and analyzing samples to ensure process control is maintained
  • Provide analytical results to processing plant to ensure efficient production
  • Date entry using LIMS
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment

    You will be rewarded with:
  • Sportsman's roster (2D2N/3D2N/2D3N)
  • 12hrs per shift
  • 6 months contract
  • 9.5% Superannuation Contribution on ALL hours worked

    Successful candidates will have the following experience:
  • Recent working history in an automated mineral production or chemical processing laboratory is essential
  • ICP testing experience
  • Must be able to troubleshoot robotics/automated equipment
  • Previous exposure to laboratory or process control environment will be highly regarded
  • Competency on CCLAS is highly advantageous
  • Ability to work with team members as well as working unsupervised
  • Ability to multi-task and learn quickly
  • Must have good time management skills

    Candidates must also be able to:
  • Certificate IV in Lab techniques/skills/operations is preferred
  • Work in a safe and efficient manner
  • Pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug Screen
  • Provide a current National Police Clearance or be willing to obtain one
  • Provide a current WA Drivers Licence
