Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Junior Service Designer on a contract until June 2021, with potential extensions of 2X 12 months.

Position Overview

Our Client is seeking a junior service designer to help us design and deliver revolutionary new experiences and improved outcomes for job seekers and employers as part of the New Employment Services Model. You will have the privilege to work in a highly supportive environment with motivated teams and a mission to deliver better public facing digital services.

A successful applicant in this role will work with existing user research, service, UX and Ul design capabilities to align design activities, develop capability and support a high cadence roadmap of delivery. The successful applicant will be a junior practitioner with a passion for user-centred design and the ability to assist others in research, design and analysis.

Our Ideal Candidate will understand:

  • Service Design and Delivery Process,
  • Digital Service Standard,
  • User research methods,
  • Agile ways of working and scaled agile practices,
  • Product or program management, and
  • User experience design and accessibility in digital services.

Essential Criteria:

  • Outline your experience as a practitioner in the field of user-centred design.
  • Outline opportunities you've had to work on projects using research or design.
  • Tell us about a professional contribution you have made to a product, service, team or organisation of which you are proud.
  • Experience with user-centred design in government.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • The successful candidate will be required to have a Baseline clearance.
