Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage an Instructional Designer on a contract for 3 months.


  • Design and deliver high level and high-quality training strategies and artefacts including online and remote options for training.
  • Work with/oversight a team of editors and copywriters to produce high quality training resources.
  • Engage, along with the project team, a range of key stakeholders, to discover and develop training resources based on their needs.
  • Set quality criteria for the production of training resources.

Essential criteria:

  • Certificate IV in Training or higher.
  • Significant demonstrated experience in developing training including e-learning and interactive training artefacts.
  • Experience in consulting with stakeholders to design training resources that will meet their needs.
  • Experience in the design of multi-media training resources and delivery.

Desirable criteria:

  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure including the ability to achieve outcomes, prioritise work and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated professional writing and authoring skills.
  • Strong analytical, strategic and problem-solving skills.
  • Well-developed oral, written and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead engagement with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in training strategy development, including delivery of online/remote options.
  • Ability to work in a team and provide support and assistance to ensure team members deliver high quality outputs.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • The successful candidate will be required to have a Baseline security clearance.
