As an Instructional designer, you'll work under limited direction to produce high quality, industry standard tailored support programs for multi-channel delivery. You will apply your knowledge of learning theories and adult learning principles to analyse needs to design content in the area of tax and superannuation for small business.

You may lead a small team or work independently to develop or implement strategies and products to achieve planned business outcomes in line with our priorities and strategic direction.


  • Has demonstrated skills and experience in instructional design and adult learning
  • Has demonstrated ability to design and develop user-centered learning content for multi-channel delivery (online, face-to-face, blended)
  • Is experienced in undertaking independent research and consulting with subject matter experts to develop learning content
  • Can work effectively and collaboratively in a team to deliver outcomes according to schedule
  • Can work effectively independently, organising and managing work in the context of competing priorities, accountable for quality outcomes and output
  • Is a strong communicator, both verbal and written
  • Is flexible to take-on ad-hoc responsibilities including reviewing, proofreading and editing learning content
  • Is outcome focused with an ability to work under limited supervision, maintain confidentiality and achieve results within tight timeframes
  • Has qualifications in the Training and Assessment/Adult Education field or commensurate experience
  • Video production skills - pre-production planning, storyboarding, audio and video editing - favourably considered but not essential.
