Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Finance and Commercial Coordinator on a contract for 12 Months, with potential extensions of 12 months.

Position Overview

Provide Innovation Strategy and Alignment Coordination Support to the Director in the following areas:

  • Strategy and Alignment;
  • Quality Management;
  • Innovation;
  • Strategic Relationship Management.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Champion the Innovation function to avoid resistance to change. Consult widely to avoid overlap of the Defence ICT Innovation teams in other areas.
  • Engage with stakeholders to improve awareness of emerging projects and innovation initiatives.
  • Clearly articulate, and formally report potential benefits from both structural and incremental change;
  • Collate and manage continuous improvement initiatives, including value for money optimisation of existing services where feedback indicates potential synergies.
  • Assure value for any innovation KPIs for Partners through coordinating quality management activities.
  • Facilitate knowledge flow to enable sharing and development of creative ideas between teams.

Our Ideal Candidate will have:

  • At least five years' experience leading projects in an ITIL / enterprise ICT environment.
  • Strong written, verbal, and non-verbal communications skills, ability to communicate Branch capability and operational interests to other groups and services' stakeholders.
  • Previous experience working at Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) or Joint Capability Group (JCG);
  • Previous experience working in a Capability Lifecycle Integrated Investment Program project or program;

Mandatory Requirements:

  • The successful candidate will be required to have an NV1 clearance.
